What Is Success?

Definition of success, “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.”

Success is just a concept; it can be big or small.

If you decided that you will exercise for 30 minutes a day for the next 2 months and achieved it, you are successful.

Success is actually quite personal.

Something that you perceive as success might not be the same for others and vice versa.

Figure out what success is to you and write it down.

What do you want to achieve? Who do you aspire to be?

Some common themes of success are:

  • Being wealthy

  • Having great relationships

  • Being healthy

  • Being happy

  • Making something out of your talents

  • Being financially free

  • Getting married

  • Having kids

Finding Your Reason For Success

Now the next step is to figure out why you want to achieve this particular goal.

So, ask yourself, why?

Why do you want this car? Why do you want to live in a big house? Why do you want to work out?

Your ultimate reason for success is the most powerful tool you need to accomplish absolutely anything you desire!

This reason should be strong enough to be able to push you through any setbacks, doubts, fears, mental blocks, or circumstances you come across.

It’s what will get you back on track, stay committed, and consistent.

This is the reason that builds discipline and focus.

And it’s important because achieving any goal requires hard work, blood, sweat, and tears.

Pick a reason that is meaningful to you.

Maybe you’ve felt like an underdog your whole life and want to prove people wrong.

Maybe you were brought up in a family or environment that always had financial problems, so you want to be financially free.

Find something that works for you.

I have different reasons for doing what I do and my goals.

These reasons are hardwired into my subconscious and now there is no way that I can stop without achieving what I want.

This is the level that you need to get to.

You can have more than one reason.

The point is to have a reason or reasons that will make you unstoppable and never go back.

Let’s explore some more reasons:

  • You want to give something back to the world

  • You have never been asked to tell your side of the story or have felt disrespected, so you want to be seen or heard

  • You want to show your value

  • You have a purpose and a vision for what you want your life to be like

  • You’ve seen your parents struggle a lot so you want to give them a good lifestyle

  • You don’t want a mediocre life

  • You’ve had a lot of health problems, so you want to improve yourself

  • You want to leave behind a legacy

Honestly, there can be a million reasons for why you want to accomplish a goal.

Many bad reasons too like wanting to become a dictator or start a corrupt company.

Your reason must be moral.

You will never be seen as successful if what you become or do doesn’t gain respect and it’s for others downfall.

Choose wisely and know that everything is possible!

What do you want to achieve? What is your biggest reason for your success?
